Peter Laverty
Born in England, 1926, studied at Winchester School of Art. Lived in Australia since 1951, teaching at the National Art School, Sydney 1952-71, and was Head of NAS, and state supervisor of Art in 1971. He was Director of the Art Gallery of New South Wales, 1971-77.Peter has painted full time since 1978
